How is Neck Lift Operation Performed?

The process starts with the application of people who have complaints about the neck region to our clinic. Our patients are examined by a specialist doctor and their current status is determined. By listening to the patient's complaints and expectations, the most appropriate operation process for the person is determined.

After the operation and technique to be performed are determined, the operation is started by informing the patient. Generally, as in facelift aesthetics, an incision is made behind the ear and the sagging neck skin is stretched upwards and sagging and wrinkles are removed. Excess skin from this area is removed.

This process also allows the angle between the chin and the neck to be corrected. In addition, some of our patients may have lubrication in the jowl area or different conditions. In these cases, the operation is also performed for the jowl region. It is determined after the expectation of this person and the evaluation of our doctor.

If neck lift surgery is to be performed alone, it takes approximately 1.5-2 hours. He stays in the hospital for 1 day after the operation. He is discharged afterwards. The patient is given a post-operative corset and needs to use this corset for 10 days. After 10 days, it is asked to use it at intervals up to 3 weeks. The recovery period is approximately 10 days. After 14 days, he can return to his normal life.
