How is Vagina Tightening Surgery Performed?

Vaginal tightening surgery can be performed under local or general anesthesia, depending on the technique to be applied. In the operation, the expanding tissues of the vagina are cut and removed. Narrowing is done from the posterior wall of the vagina to the entrance of the vagina. The remaining tissue is stitched back into the vagina. During these procedures, the anatomical structure of the vagina is not damaged.

Along with the narrowing operation, operations such as labiaplasty and hymen repair can also be performed.
Depending on the condition of the enlarged part and the combination of other procedures to be performed, the operation time may be around 1-3 hours.

Healing Process After Vagina Tightening

Patients may need to rest for 1-2 weeks after surgery. For the first few days, a deep pain may be felt. It is necessary not to use tampons and not to have sexual intercourse for 8 weeks. Depending on the amount of contraction performed, some patients may be asked to use a dilator.
